Hun Manet Says PM's Actions Have Saved the Lives of Millions of Cambodians

KAMPONG CHAM: Gen. Hun Manet has said that the Covid-19 vaccination campaign launched by the Royal Government of Cambodia protected the lives of millions of people in the country. He added that people's active participation in the campaign reflected their trust in the Royal Government.

Gen. Hun Manet made this statement at a Sunday, 10 April 2023, inauguration ceremony for the Samdech Techo Hun Sen Dangkda Primary and Secondary School and the Dangdar Health Center Maternity Building, as well as the joint-groundbreaking ceremony for a concrete road in Dangkda Commune, Stung Trang District, Kampong Cham Province.

He said that the successful Covid-19 vaccination campaign showed the Prime Minister's remarkable leadership, long-term vision, clear strategy and high responsibility to both prevent and control the spread of the pandemic in the Kingdom, highlighting the Prime Minister's dedication to protecting the lives of all people.

He also mentioned the focus the Prime Minister places on student education, saying he has always been committed to building more schools and creating conditions for all students in the country, especially female students, to have the opportunity to study without having to travel far.

In Kampong Cham province's Stung Trang district, there are currently 65 school buildings with 460 classrooms that were generously provided by the Prime Minister and First Lady, for the benefit all individuals, families and wider society.
